His Highness the President In a nationwide campaign that embodies the leadership’s goal of promoting a cohesive and empowered community, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has proclaimed 2025 as the Year of Community with the tagline “Hand in Hand.
By conserving cultural history, fostering intergenerational relationships, and establishing inclusive spaces that encourage cooperation, belonging, and shared experiences, the Year of Community seeks to improve family and community ties. In order to foster a culture of shared responsibility and advance society as a whole, it also exhorts everyone who lives in the United Arab Emirates to actively participate in community service, volunteer work, and worthwhile projects.
Along with other UAE national priorities, the Year of Community aims to unleash the potential and capabilities of people, families, and organisations by fostering innovation, developing skills, and nurturing talents in areas like entrepreneurship and emerging industries, like artificial intelligence, in order to enable inclusive growth and long-lasting positive impact.
Her Highness Sheikha Mariam Bint Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairperson of the Presidential Court for National Projects, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, will supervise the project.
