The Sharjah Media Council Chairman and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, awarded the recipients of the ninth Sharjah Broadcasting Authority employees’ “Thank You” Award on Thursday at the Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre.
The Sharjah Broadcasting Authority category’s Ahmed Mohammed (technician) and Aisha Al Mazmi (administrator) took home this year’s prize. Mahmoud Abdulqader Saleh won from Al Wusta Channel in the Al Dhaid category, while Sheikha Ahmed Al Ketbi won from the Al Sharqiya Channel category. The immediate managers of the champions were also honoured.
This yearly ceremony has become a well-established tradition in our authority, reflecting our commitment to honouring innovators and inspiring employees who have raised the authority’s banner high and contributed to achieving its mission set by His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah,” Al Ghaithi continued.
The most recent changes to the award’s voting process were revealed by the director of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority. Thirty percent of the jury’s verdict and seventy percent of the employee vote on the day of the ceremony will determine the final winners.
