UAE’s New Ambassadors take the Oath of Office Before Sheikh Abdullah

At the ministry’s Abu Dhabi headquarters, a fresh group of diplomats was sworn in before Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Sheikh Abdullah congratulated the 55 recently appointed diplomats after the swearing-in ceremony, reiterating his belief in their ability to represent the UAE with distinction. In order to improve the nation’s reputation abroad and fortify its ties with other countries, he urged them to work cooperatively and assiduously.

Ambassador Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; Minister Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh; Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Lana Zaki Nusseibeh; Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Development Affairs and International Organisations Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi; Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic and Trade Affairs Saeed Mubarak Al-Hajeri; Assistant Minister for Medical Affairs and Life Sciences Maha Taysir Barakat; Khaled Abdullah Belhoul, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Abdullah Mohamed Al-Blooki, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services; Faisal Issa Lutfi, Assistant Undersecretary for Consular Affairs; Saif Abdullah Al Shamsi, Assistant Undersecretary for Protocol Affairs, and other officials.
