The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI) is providing immediate food relief to Lebanon at the direction of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai.<\/p>\n
In partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), this aid will be provided to 250,000 individuals impacted by the ongoing conflict and humanitarian crises.This\u00a0aid demonstrates the UAE’s dedication to helping its Arab neighbours and reflects the country’s strong sense of duty and humanitarian ideals.<\/p>\n
“This aid reflects the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid to stand by those in need, particularly by providing essential support during times of crisis,” said Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Secretary-General Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Gergawi.<\/p>\n
“This support for our Lebanese brothers and sisters, delivered through MBRGI in partnership with the WFP, demonstrates the UAE\u2019s continued dedication to providing aid to those facing crises and humanitarian challenges in the Arab world,” Al Gergawi stated. He added that MBRGI continues to develop programmes and partnerships to fulfil the UAE leadership\u2019s vision of extending support to neighboring countries.<\/p>\n
