The center&#8217;s creation was a component of a broader AI deal that French President Emmanuel Macron and the Emirati leader signed. A joint Franco-Emirati statement stated that the two leaders &#8220;expressed their desire to establish a strategic partnership in the field of AI and committed to exploring collaborations on projects and investments supporting the development of the AI value chain.<\/p>\n<p>Data centres for artificial intelligence are planned to store data and supply the massive amounts of energy needed for the new technologies.
