With over three decades of experience in Sales, Design, and wellbeing, and a Former Pilates Instructor and Studio owner, Jackie often struggled to find luxury wellness lifestyle products that were specifically designed for women like her. With a passion to change this, she uses Clinical Aromatherapy for midlife biochemical balance, and offers non-toxic candles, soaps, and diffusers at Quiet Blue, supporting women through their PCOS, perimenopause, and menopause journey.

The Beginning

Jackie Stapleton’s professional journey has spanned several industries. Interested to learn the beginning of her career path, we asked, “What inspired you to launch Quiet Blue, and what does the name represent?”

Jackie shared, “Quiet Blue was born from a deeply personal space. I’ve spent over 30 years in wellness, interiors, and sales – working closely with HNWI and UHNW people and the environments that shape them. But it was my own experience navigating perimenopause and coeliac disease and discovering the toxins in everyday and luxury products that horrified me as well as inspired my journey.

I struggled to find luxury wellness lifestyle products that took it one step further, that were designed for women like me. I saw a need for wellness-based, hormone-safe products with trusted healing benefits all wrapped up in beautiful, aesthetically pleasing vessels that blended with any space. I didn’t want them to be clinical, basic, or boring, but beautiful, grounding, and trustworthy.

The name Quiet Blue represents quiet, understated luxury, whilst blue represents transparency and trust. It captures the stillness and resilience I wanted women to experience when engaging with our products, something that honours softness without losing power.”

Creating a Breathable Space: Quite Blue’s Specialty

Intrigued to understand more about the values guiding Jackie’s brand, we posed the question, “How would you define the core aesthetic or philosophy behind Quiet Blue’s design direction?”

“Our aesthetic is clean, serene, and intentional. It’s about creating space, visually and emotionally – for women to breathe. Every design decision reflects a belief in less noise, more meaning. The blue-indigo dot represents the third eye chakra which is associated with the element of light and insight. The shape of the dot or the Moon represents feminine energy and cyclical change; it is for the Menopause community and the circular symbol of women’s cycles and phases of life.

We use a muted palette, minimalist packaging, and simple forms to communicate clarity and care. The goal is not to shout for attention, but to earn it through trust, beauty, and quiet confidence. We don’t follow trends for the sake of it. We create rituals that feel timeless, safe, and soulful,” she explained.

Navigating through Challenges

We further asked, “What were some of the biggest challenges you faced while transitioning from a structured corporate environment to leading your own creative studio?”

Reflecting on her experience, Jackie shared, “I have never really worked in a structured corporate environment. Whilst my sales design work is with a corporate company, I work autonomously and so have the freedom to set my own diary and be able to juggle that career with setting up Quiet Blue.

When I ran my Pilates studios for 13 years whilst my children were young, I discovered quickly that you wear every hat, from marketing to managing and training Instructors, to finance and storytelling. The biggest challenge with Quiet Blue has been combining those previous skills with trusting my intuition without external validation, and just keeping going. I had to build my own structure from the ground up while protecting the creative space I needed. I also had to learn how to invite others into the vision without diluting its essence.”

Standing Apart from the Competition: Staying True to Values

In an increasingly noisy digital world, we asked Jackie Stapleton to share how she ensures her work stands out while staying true to a ‘quiet’ and refined brand identity.

She mentioned, “By refusing to compete on noise. Instead, we focus on community and networking. Our customers are looking for grounding, not more stimulation and that’s exactly what we offer. We’ve grown organically to date, and connected with women’s summits, leadership platforms, and wellbeing groups. From our visual identity to our language and scent formulations, everything is designed to invite pause, presence, and peace.

We tell fewer stories, but we tell them well. And because they come from a place of truth, they cut through in their own way.”

Foundations of Quiet Blue

Sustainability and authenticity are key trends today. We inquired Jackie, “how do they influence your work at Quiet Blue?”

“For us, these aren’t trends, they’re our foundations and principles. Authenticity is in everything: our language, the ingredients we choose, and the way we show up for our community. We’re honest about what we don’t do yet, and transparent about the progress we’re making. Sustainability also shows up in quieter ways.

Our packaging is plastic-free, our natural soy wax is sustainably sourced, and we are conscious about sourcing essential oils that may have been affected by harvest or over-consumption. We are working to make all our candles refillable. However, the vessels are reusable, recyclable, and re-purposeful. Our formulations avoid all synthetic fragrance and endocrine disruptors. We work with small-batch suppliers and UK-based production partners. It’s been a slower path, but a better one,” Jackie explained.

A Distinguished Project

We requested Jackie to walk us through a recent project she is especially proud of, and the creative thinking behind it.

Jackie reflected, “Our MNPS/1 Sleep Support Candle is a standout for me. It’s not just a candle, it’s a conversation starter about clean inhalation and hormone safety, wrapped in a night-time ritual that supports the foundation of your health, and the ability of the aromatherapy oils to calm anxiety, balance mood, and hormones.

It’s about supporting a good night’s sleep so you are then able to function the next day, and about having a positive effect on your mood and your energy. We developed the scent with a clinical aromatherapist and specialist candle perfumer, ensuring every note was functional, healing as well as beautiful. The packaging was deliberately minimalist to signal both purity and elegance. Seeing customers light it and describe the emotional shift they feel, that’s the real reward.”

The Art of Balancing

Curious to learn how Jackie Stapleton manages to balance every aspect of her business and creative endeavours perfectly, we asked, “How do you balance the artistic and business sides of running a creative agency?”

She shared with a smile, “It’s a dance, really. I have a strong creative instinct, but I also understand the importance of discipline, especially when you’re asking others to invest in your vision. I start every decision with emotion and story, then pressure-test it with logic and numbers, and I have an amazing board of Advisors that help me with my vision.”

Start the Journey with a “Why”: Insights of an Expert

Addressing the beginners of her field, we asked Jackie, “What advice would you give to aspiring creatives looking to build a purpose-driven design studio from the ground up?”

“Start with your ‘why’ and protect it fiercely. Trends will come and go, but a clear purpose will carry you through doubt and distraction. Build something real, not just beautiful.

Also, take your time; I’m probably the most impatient person and want everything now, however, I’ve learnt so much by taking this journey differently from previous careers and experiences, and I’ve learnt so much more and feel far more resilient. We live in a culture of urgency, but depth takes space. Choose collaborators who challenge and support you, and remember that refinement is a strength, not a limitation. And most importantly, don’t be afraid to be quiet in a loud world. Sometimes, the most powerful brands are the ones that whisper with intention,” Jackie advised.

Follow Jackie Stapleton on LinkedIn.

Find Quiet Blue on LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, and visit their website https://www.quiet-blue.com

Also Read :-

Steven Looije: Offering Real Estate Expertise for Smart Investments With HUIS Real Estate

A Trusted Name in Finance and Investment Consulting: Sasa Pejic as the CEO of Pannon GroupNS

We recently had the privilege of having an insightful conversation with Jackie Stapleton, Founder and Creative Director of Quiet Blue, a luxury, wellbeing brand designed to support women through Menopause and Midlife.
