But Adams remains in the race, Cuomo is being tied more closely to Trump in a city where Democrats dominate, and Mamdani is gaining momentum. His campaign has picked up endorsements, media attention, and grassroots energy, bolstered by a high-profile town hall with Sen. Bernie Sanders.<\/p>\n
At New York\u2019s Labor Day parade, Mamdani marched with union members and aides, drawing cheers as they passed Trump Tower. Meanwhile, Adams marched separately, wearing \u201cMAYOR ADAMS\u201d on his shirt, but without visible campaign support. Mamdani framed Trump\u2019s focus on race as proof of his campaign\u2019s strength, saying the president is desperate to block a movement that addresses the cost-of-living crisis with real solutions.<\/p>\n
