Vodafone’s services are down, according to thousands of subscribers in the UK. More than 130,000 users reported issues affecting their Vodafone mobile or broadband network on Monday afternoon, according to Downdetector, a tool that tracks internet outages.<\/p>\n
Nearly 700,000 residential broadband customers are among the company’s more than 18 million consumers in the UK, according to its website. Vodafone apologized to consumers in a revised statement on Monday night and stated that its network was “recovering.<\/p>\n
There was a problem with the Vodafone network this afternoon that affected 4G, 5G, and broadband services, according to a company spokeswoman. The network is still recovering, while 2G phone calls and SMS messages remained untouched.<\/p>\n
The company’s website and app, which usually let users check the status of its network services, have also been difficult for many to use.<\/p>\n
Additionally, customers have complained of “complete outages” in their neighbourhood on social media. Customers seem to have started experiencing problems just after 15:00 BST.<\/p>\n
In a post on X, internet watchdog Netblocks stated that real-time network data indicated Vodafone was going through “a national outage” that affected both mobile and broadband communications.<\/p>\n
