At the 61st Bologna Children’s Book Fair (BCBF), which is taking place in Italy from April 8\u201311, 2024, the emirate of Sharjah is reaffirming its position as a champion of Arab culture. Sharjah Book Authority (SBA) is once again spearheading a delegation highlighting the emirate’s vibrant cultural scene and efforts aimed at assisting authors and illustrators as a highlight on the industry calendar.<\/p>\n
Increasing the creative and innovative capacity: “Under the guidance of Sheikha Bodour Bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of SBA, and in collaboration with Sharjah’s cultural institutions, our participation at BCBF features a diverse programme showcasing the many great things that define our Emirate and strengthen our publishing industry,” said Ahmed Bin Rakkad Al Ameri<\/a>, CEO of SBA, in response to Sharjah’s commitment to enhancing global culture and empowering the local publishing industry.<\/p>\n “Our goals are to expand our assistance for publishers and translators, create new relationships, and strengthen our partnerships with prominent children’s book business members.
