We started the interview by asking, \u201cCan you tell us about your professional journey and what led you to your current role?\u201d<\/p>\n

Wessam Alsenafi Tariq shared, \u201cThe world is now changing and the life needs and requirements keep increasing. The basic sources of income are no longer enough for our current lifestyle and since I was born with the skill of negotiating and searching, I have devoted it merely to serve me getting indulged in the world of business<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n Eager to learn what makes Wessam Alsenafi Tariq’s company unique from the competition, we asked, \u201cWhat sets your business apart from competitors in the industry?\u201d<\/p>\n Wessam Alsenafi Tariq shared, \u201cThe competition in any market is quite tough. Thus, competing to maintain good quality products, good service, good after-pay service, and good prices is perhaps one of our standouts. There are no standouts in the market because all businesses big and small operate around the same methods to attract customers, but what makes any business stand out more is focusing on building a name which is what we target the most in this field.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n To learn more about the triumphs of Wessam Alsenafi Tariq’s business, we inquired, \u201cWhat has been your business’s biggest achievement to date?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSo far, we have sustained a good reputation in terms of quality, rate, and service, and that has helped us grow our name till now.\u201d<\/em> She shared.<\/p>\n To learn more about how Wessam Alsenafi Tariq leads her team, we asked, \u201cHow would you describe your leadership style?\u201d<\/p>\n Wessam Alsenafi Tariq replied, \u201cLeadership revolves around controlling your network and keeping the work environment as stable as possible to help with the development and growth plan. As for my style, I ensure I am updated on what methodologies are practiced in the business world, both the technological and physical level<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n We further asked, \u201cWhat strategies do you use to motivate and develop talent in your organization?\u201d<\/p>\n Wessam Alsenafi Tariq added, \u201cRegular weekly meetings are held to discuss and negotiate the updates or issues, if any, to keep the update or follow-up cycle going as well as discuss and share new ideas and listen to employees\u2019 feedback, comments, and suggestions. We keep a discussion portal open for our staff to reach out if required.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n AI is influencing every industry at present times. So, we asked, \u201cWhat role do you see Artificial Intelligence or technology playing in this industry?\u201d<\/p>\n We asked, \u201cAI is becoming the new era of technology and here we are fighting to stay updated with the news of this technology development. This transition phase is the learning phase and here we are now trying to dedicate part of our power to be aligned with the AI development <\/em><\/p>\n because the future vision seems like AI will take over<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n To understand Wessam Alsenafi Tariq’s vision about the future of her industry, we asked, \u201cHow do you envision the future of your industry?\u201d<\/p>\n She replied, \u201cWe aim to see our store as one of the most popular e-commerce women’s intimates stores in Kuwait.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Challenging phases are a part of every business. We asked, \u201cWhat have been some of the most significant hurdles you’ve encountered in your business, and how did you address them?\u201d<\/p>\n Wessam Alsenafi Tariq shared, \u201cFrankly, being in our current advanced market nowadays is very challenging. There isn’t any particular hurdle in one field like in the older organizations structures. However, the challenges are more on the complicated or technological side. In essence, network errors while clients are completing their online purchases are one of the common issues, we, and of course many other e-commerce businesses encounter.\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n For instance, when sales are made through our website, one of the problems we face is the drop of the network which leads the transaction to be abandoned many times, leading us towards losing the sale. We are continuously working on improving our services to avoid similar <\/em><\/p>\n errors and make things easier for our clients<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n We were intrigued to learn about a piece of business advice or tip that has stayed with Wessam Alsenafi Tariq to date. So, we asked, \u201cWhat is an excellent piece of business advice you have ever received?\u201d<\/p>\n She replied, \u201cNever look back when a decision is taken regardless of the outcome, keep moving forward without forgetting your previous experience.
