With a theme of “15 Years on Track,” the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai is getting ready to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Dubai Metro, a symbol of public transportation in the city, with a variety of events, surprises, and programs aimed at bringing joy to locals and tourists from around the globe.<\/p>\n
A number of sponsors and partners are helping to support this year’s festivities, including LEGO Middle East, LEGOLAND Dubai, IGLOO, Al Jaber Gallery, and Emirates Post as Campaign Partners, and Keolis-MHI, the operator of Dubai Metro and Tram, as a Strategic Partner.<\/p>\n
A couple of the main events of the Dubai Metro’s 15th anniversary celebrations are the release of limited edition Post Stamps by Emirates Post for collectors and introducing a Special Edition Nol Card by the RTA with a design exclusively created by LEGO Middle East and the campaign’s logo. Al Jaber Gallery will also be selling a range of Metro-related mementos in honour of this event.<\/p>\n
On September 21, 2024, LEGOLAND Dubai will celebrate “Metro Babies,” children born on September 9, 2009, through the same date in 2023. Their parents can register them on the RTA website (www.rta.ae).<\/p>\n
