India celebrated Republic Day, the day the country’s secular constitution went into effect in 1950, in New Delhi on Sunday with colourful tableaux, fighter aircraft formations, and motorbike exploits by army daredevils.
From seats along the Kartavya route, also known as the route of duty, thousands of people flocked to the capital to observe the parade. They cheered the march by Indian defence forces troops and dance performances.
The principal guest was visiting Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, who was joined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Droupadi Murmu, and other government and political figures.
As we commemorate our 76th Republic Day, I would like to express my sincere greetings to all my fellow Indians, stated Paras Shahdadpuri, Founder and Chairman of the Nikai Group of Companies.
