According to a statement, Palestinian Civil Defense teams retrieved seven bodies and several injured individuals from a house in central Gaza on Tuesday. Israeli aeroplanes targeted the house earlier Tuesday, according to the Palestinian Civil Defense.
In order to prevent rebels from capturing Damascus, Israeli raids were also directed towards suspected chemical and long-range weapons locations in Syria.
At the request of Russia, which claimed to have offered shelter to its longstanding ally Syrian leader Bashar Assad, the UN Security Council convened extraordinary private deliberations on Syria on Monday.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov informed reporters that Russian President Vladimir Putin personally decided to grant Assad asylum. Peskov stated that Putin has no intention of meeting with Assad and declined to remark on his precise whereabouts.
According to local health officials, Israel’s attack has killed more than 44,500 Palestinians in Gaza since the Israel-Hamas conflict began. They claim that women and children make up the majority of the deceased, but they do not differentiate between combatants and civilians.
