The largest observation wheel in the world, Ain Dubai, is now accepting reservations. Since March 2022, the well-known attraction has been closed for “enhancement works”. The starting price for tickets is Dh145. Tickets can be purchased on the attraction’s website.
A customer service agent confirmed that the 250-meter-tall wheel had a “soft launch” on December 25 when called.The wheel’s operator, Dubai Holding, did not comment on the reopening.
The attraction is open from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends. Each trip provides a 360-degree panorama of Dubai’s skyline, which lasts around 38 minutes.
It can accommodate 1,750 people in its 48 cabins. The Ain Dubai rises 250 meters above the city from the base to the top of the tallest cabin. Its height surpasses the High Roller in Las Vegas by 82 meters. The attraction opened to the public from the well-known Jumeirah Beach Residences (JBR) coastline on Dubai’s Bluewaters Island. The view wheel first declared its closure in March 2022, with the Islamic holiday of Eid Al Fitr that year as its reopening date. The administration further postponed the attraction’s reopening and declared in October 2022 that it would remain closed until the first quarter of 2023. The reopening was then delayed “until further notice” after that.
