The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s (ACCI) Director of Member Affairs, Sheikh Hamad bin Nasser Al Nuaimi, praised the emirate’s economic developments and the attention and oversight it receives from its astute leadership.
According to him, the three main goals of Ajman Vision 2030 are to improve the business climate, attract investment, and spur economic growth.
Additionally, he emphasised that the ACCI works to realise the emirate’s goals and directions, with the intention of promoting and facilitating investment, establishing a business-friendly environment, increasing trade volume, and fostering entrepreneurship, start-ups, and small and medium-sized businesses.
In the first half of 2024, Sheikh Hamad revealed the list of nations Ajman exports goods to. Saudi Arabia and Iraq were at the top of the list, followed by Kuwait, Ethiopia, Turkey, and Turkey.
According to Jamila Kajoor, the ACCI’s director of member relations and support, the organization’s membership increased by 4% in the first half of this year to 800 industrial establishments, up from 770 in the same period in 2023. This indicates the growth of the industrial sector and the emirate’s standing as a desirable location for investments in the industrial sector and a sustainable setting for industrial facilities.
