At the 2025 Met Gala, Rihanna and Ciara finally enjoyed a tender moment together after years of being apart. On May 5, the two pop singers, who were previously well-known for their heated Twitter dispute, met up at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and posed for pictures. Ciara was spotted grinning inside the celebration when she touched Rihanna’s growing baby belly.
Rihanna had announced that she and A$AP Rocky were expecting their third child only hours prior to the event. “I feel a lot better that I don’t have to suck my stomach in anymore,” the Fenty Beauty creator joked to Access Hollywood after letting her bump steal the show in an eye-catching all-black ensemble.
Along with Rihanna and A$AP, Ciara posed for a group shot at the event with her husband, NFL star Russell Wilson. Ciara commended Rihanna and described the exchange during her interview on Sherri as “sweet,” stating, “I just have to shout her out because I’m so proud of her.
She continued with a few humorous anecdotes from their discussion. “This is her third child to date. Cinco was the topic of our hilarious conversation. As you are aware, I have four. Thus, Russell begins discussing Cinco. Since she needs to learn the tres (Spanish for three) first, we begin discussing quatro for her. “First, the third baby,” Ciara remarked.
