The Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DoH), which oversees the Emirate’s healthcare system, announced on the fringes of Abu Dhabi Global Healthcare Week that Burjeel Hospital Abu Dhabi, Burjeel Medical City, and Paley Middle East Clinic had received accreditation as the Emirate’s specialized centers for orthopedic care.
The accreditation agreement was signed by Dr. Rashed Obaid AlSuwaidi, Executive Director of Healthcare Workforce Planning at the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, and Aysha Almahri, Deputy CEO of Burjeel Holdings, in the presence of Mansoor Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, Dr. Noura Khamis Al Ghaithi, Undersecretary of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, Founder and Chairman of Burjeel Holdings, and John Sunil, CEO of Burjeel Holding.
