TIME Magazine’s annual list of the World’s Greatest Places, which showcases 100 exceptional places to visit and stay, includes the Abrahamic Family House.
To create this list, TIME asked its global network of correspondents and contributors for recommendations of locations, with a focus on those that offer novel and thrilling experiences. Nominations for hotels, cruises, restaurants, attractions, museums, parks, and more were accepted. The Abrahamic Family House was highlighted as one of the fascinating new destinations to explore.
TIME states that “It feels more important than ever to combine a mosque, synagogue, and church in Abu Dhabi’s Abrahamic Family House, which aims to promote mutual understanding.” The Abrahamic Family House was included in TIME Magazine’s annual list of the World’s Greatest Places. It was opened to the public in March 2023 with an emphasis on peaceful coexistence and interfaith learning and dialogue. The centre is also an active place of prayer for the Muslim, Jewish, and Christian communities in the United Arab Emirates, hosting over 250,000 worshippers and visitors in its first year and upward of 250 community events.
