The UAE’s Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, stated that the trade sector remains a major contributor to the emirate’s economic development and international clout.
In an increasingly competitive global market, the sector is playing a vital role in Dubai’s growth as a global commercial hub, driving diversification, innovation and economic resilience,” he stated. Trade is the lifeblood of Dubai’s economy and a crucial pillar of its growth as a leading global city,” Sheikh Hamdan stated.
We have turned obstacles into opportunities and improved Dubai’s standing on the international trade map thanks to decades of cooperation with the trading community and foreign partners. Sheikh Hamdan made these comments on Wednesday at the Za’abeel Majlis in Dubai while meeting with investors, dealers, and businesses.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE’s vice president, prime minister, and ruler of Dubai, has made commerce a major driver of sustainable development, as seen by the trade sector’s strong performance. The Dubai Economic Agenda D33’s objectives, which include adding 400 cities as important commercial partners and doubling Dubai’s foreign trade to Dhs25.6 trillion by 2033.
