A British social media celebrity known for his widely shared fast food reviews, Big John Fisher, has been arrested in Australia due to a visa problem. Known for his characteristic catchphrase “bosh” and his penchant for Chinese takeaway, Fisher arrived in Western Australia on Tuesday in preparation for a tour of the region.
However, he stated in social media posts that he would be deported to London and would have to postpone his planned appearances in Perth and Sydney. Fisher claimed that despite the fact that his visa was “legit,” Australian authorities “weren’t happy” that he would be working while in the country. Border officials interrogated him for four hours. It is acknowledged that Fisher used the wrong visa to enter Australia.
Due to privacy concerns, an Australian Border Force representative stated that the force was unable to comment on specific incidents. Will explain more when I get home but absolutely gutted,” he said. “I apologize, Sydney; I apologize, Perth.
Fisher wrote on Wednesday morning local time that he was spending his 52nd birthday in a detention hotel awaiting deportation and that he was unhappy with the way authorities were treating him.
Before concluding with his well-known catchphrase, “bosh” a British slang term frequently used as an exuberant exclamation he wrote, “I’m still smiling and I still love Australia.
