While congratulating Professor Yasmine Belkaid, the recipient of the Great Arab Minds Award in Medicine 2024, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid made this statement. In the fields of immunology, infectious illnesses, microbiology, and tissue immunity, Professor Belkaid made outstanding contributions to clinical research and cutting-edge scientific investigations worldwide.
“Today, we congratulate Professor Yasmine Belkaid from Algeria, President of the Institut Pasteur in France, who has won the Great Arab Minds Award in Medicine 2024,” Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid remarked. Her contributions to immunology and research on the function of microorganisms in boosting immunity and preventing disease have been outstanding. More than 220 scholarly articles on infection, immunology, microbiota, and nutrition have been written by Professor Yasmine Belkaid.
