Rising visitor numbers and continuous investments in new residential and tourism developments are driving Ras Al Khaimah’s fast expansion in both the tourism and real estate industries.
Ras Al Khaimah is anticipated to have twice as many hotel rooms by 2027, with about 7,000 more keys being added. The Wynn Al Marjan Island, one of the upscale complexes on Al Marjan Island, is scheduled to open in 2027. 1.28 million people spent the night in Ras Al Khaimah in 2024, a 4.9% rise from the year before. By 2030, the emirate hopes to welcome 3.5 million tourists annually.
In response, Indian Hotels firm (IHCL), the country’s biggest hospitality firm, opened Taj Wellington Mews on Al Marjan Island. The property, which was introduced in collaboration with BNW Developments, became one of the fastest-selling luxury developments in the United Arab Emirates when 97 of its units were reserved in the first day of its debut.
This partnership with Taj is the architectural expression of BNW’s long-term ambition. Ankur Aggarwal, Chairman and Founder of BNW Developments, stated, “This enables us to combine generational heritage with modern precision, an alliance rooted in purpose, not just prestige.
