As a demonstration of the UAE’s worldwide humanitarian assistance efforts, the UAE search and rescue team—which is made up of the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority (ADCDA), Abu Dhabi Police, UAE National Guard, and Joint Operations Command—continues to provide help to individuals impacted by the earthquake in Myanmar.
Teams will operate alternating morning and evening shifts to expedite response efforts and cover as many impacted communities as possible during the search and rescue operation, which will occur across six locations in Myanmar.
In response to His Highness President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s orders, the United Arab Emirates has already sent a search and rescue team to help save those impacted by the earthquake in Myanmar.
This effort is the result of the United Arab Emirates’ pledge to offer prompt assistance to communities affected by natural disasters worldwide as a show of brotherhood and unity. It symbolises the country’s commitment to worldwide humanitarianism and its goal of providing aid to needy people. The United Arab Emirates is among the first nations to provide immediate humanitarian aid to victims of natural disasters worldwide.
