UAE flagship airline Emirates said that it plans to employ more than 1,500 new pilots over the next two years as the aviation industry commemorated World Pilots’ Day on April 26 . More than 80 airline pilots are on course to get this command upgrade, thanks to its successful Accelerated Command program, which promotes First Officers to the position of Captain. The airline is based in Dubai.
Emirates is concentrating on employing seasoned pilots for positions in one of its four programs—Direct Entry Captains, Accelerated Command, First Officers Type Rated, and First Officers Non-Type Rated. According to UAE news outlet WAM, the new personnel will be welcomed into a flight crew community of 4,600 members.
Nearly 2,000 new pilots have joined the airline since the beginning of 2022. To hire more than 550 pilots, Emirates’ recruiting team will do road shows in more than 40 locations worldwide this year. Following productive discussions in Italy this month, they will go to Norway, Finland, and Sweden in May.
To provide security and stability, Emirates pilots get a competitive tax-free wage along with profit-sharing perks. They also have access to retirement benefits, a top-notch provident fund, and health, dental, and life insurance.
