Antônio Miranda  responds, “Having had the experience of working in various sectors, including the F&B industry and retail, events, services, franchising, telecommunications, and education, has sharpened my ability to generate creative innovations and sustainable results.

My time in the education sector, in particular, stood out for its experience in digital transformation, where I applied agile methods, data-driven approaches, and consumer-focused decisions to create competitive differentiators. This experience reinforced my entrepreneurial nature and my holistic view of business.

“I imagine the future of the gelato sector as an era of continuous innovation, driven by a growing demand for personalized and sustainable experiences. I see an increase in the use of artificial intelligence to improve operational efficiency, coupled with a strong emphasis on natural, organic ingredients and healthiness.

Sustainability will be a key factor, with greener practices in production and packaging. In addition, the customer experience will continue to evolve, with more interactivity and immersion in stores, but humanized service and relationships will always be a differentiator.” He added.

Challenging phases are a definite part of every business. So, we asked, “What have been some of the most significant obstacles you’ve encountered in your company and how have you dealt with them?”

Antônio Miranda replied, “We are experiencing rapid growth, so one concern I keep alive is ensuring quality and focusing on what is important and relevant. We’ve tackled this by focusing on the Core Business, training and developing the team, constantly listening to customers and franchisees, having efficient resource management and effective communication to ensure the whole team is involved and prioritized.”

We were eager to learn about business advice that Antônio Miranda feels has worked the best for him. So, we inquired, “What was the best piece of business advice you ever received?”

Antônio Miranda shared, “I believe it was from my grandfather Miranda, after whom I am named, a born businessman: “Prioritize the people and culture of your company above all else. Businesses are built by people, and lasting success comes from a team that is motivated, engaged, and aligned with the company’s values. Innovation and creativity flourish in environments where people feel valued, empowered, and part of something bigger.”

This advice resonated deeply with me. It highlights the importance of cultivating a work environment where employees feel listened to, respected, and encouraged to innovate.
