We recently had the privilege of interviewing Marcos Frutos, an independent advisor and founder and CEO of Gades Stackhouse. Career Trajectory of Marcos Frutos
We started the interview by asking, “Could you share a bit about your professional journey and how it evolved from acting and modeling to becoming the CEO & Founder of a real estate company in Spain?”
Marcos shared, “I actually started my artistic path as a child in theatre and did my first background role in a film at 17. Very early on, I felt the calling toward acting—it came naturally, almost instinctively.
The same happened with entrepreneurship. From a young age, I had my own ideas, my own way of seeing things, and I struggled to fit into rigid or hierarchical structures. Since I wasn’t a great student, I decided to travel the world at a very young age. I had to find my own opportunities to support myself, so I lived and worked in different countries, learning and absorbing as much as I could. It became clear that I had a natural talent for public relations and sales. That journey went on for many years and across many cultures, and it gave me both character and knowledge. Later on, I began creating my own projects. Some failed, others didn’t, but each one taught me something essential.”
“I’ve always believed that a person can be multifaceted and develop several areas of their life at once. For me, combining acting, modeling, and entrepreneurship has always felt organic. Both worlds feed each other:
Creativity, presence, and emotional intelligence translate beautifully into business, while discipline, resilience, and strategic thinking support my artistic work.
After decades of working in hospitality, luxury services, and lifestyle concepts, founding my own brokerage company was a natural evolution. Becoming the CEO and founder of Gades Stackhouse wasn’t a shift—it was the continuation of a lifelong pattern: creating, connecting people, and building something with intention and authenticity,” he added.

Impact of a Creative Background
We then asked, “How has your background in acting and modeling shaped your personal brand and influenced the way you lead and represent Gades Stackhouse?”
“I began acting and modeling very young, which allowed me to travel widely. I grew up in different environments and cultures where sensitivity, aesthetics, and storytelling were essential. That sensitivity and global perspective have shaped the way I lead Gades Stackhouse more than I initially realized.
In acting, as in business, details make the difference. You learn to read people, to listen, to adapt, and to understand the emotional dimension of every situation. These skills are incredibly valuable when negotiating, building trust, or representing clients in high-value transactions.
Creativity, visual coherence, and an eye for elegance have also influenced the way I present the company, our brand, and every project we take on. I try to bring as much creativity and aesthetic sense as possible into my work as an entrepreneur,” Marcos reflected.
Spark Behind the Journey
Intrigued to learn about the events that inspired Marcos Frutos to enter the real estate industry, and motivated the creation of Gades Stackhouse, we asked him to share the same.
He explained, “After many years in hospitality, I realized I had been ‘brokering’ naturally—connecting people, opportunities, and businesses without even noticing. I’ve always been a facilitator.
In 2021, I decided to make it official and build a company around what I had been doing intuitively for years: creating value through relationships, insight, and trust.
Gades Stackhouse was born from that instinct, from my passion for lifestyle, design, and architecture, and from my desire to bring a more human touch—along with quality, transparency, and realism—to an industry often filled with noise and speculation.”

Balancing Creativity with Business Acumen
Balance is the key to a successful career. To learn how Marcos Frutos ensures the same for his professional journey, we asked, “How do you balance your creative career in the entertainment industry with your responsibilities as a business leader?”
“I’m fortunate to have a great business partner and a team that allows both worlds to coexist. Acting is intermittent by nature, so I’ve learned not to dramatize the timing—it comes in waves.
My priority as a founder is to set a clear direction for the company and build a structure that doesn’t rely on my daily presence. When the team is aligned and empowered, the company flows, and I can dedicate time to acting whenever opportunities arise. It’s all about balance and clarity,” Marcos mentioned.
What Defines Success for Marcos Frutos
We further asked, “What unique strengths or perspectives from your acting and modeling career have helped you succeed in real estate and entrepreneurship?”
“Perseverance is definitely one of them. In both acting and entrepreneurship, resilience is fundamental. You learn to navigate uncertainty, rejection, and change while staying focused on the long-term vision.
I also believe some qualities are innate—you’re born with that entrepreneurial instinct or that artistic calling. I’ve always had both. And in both worlds, I’ve learned that success is not about competing with others, but about bringing something personal to the table—something that carries your fingerprint. If you can add a different perspective, a human touch, a unique sensibility, then you’re already succeeding.
To me, success today means staying alive, staying inspired, and doing things that make you feel fulfilled. And I couldn’t be happier with what Gades Stackhouse has become, or with the artistic curiosity that still drives me every day,” he explained.
Triumphs in Career Path
To learn the achievements of Marcos Frutos in both his roles, we asked, “What has been one of your most significant achievements—either as an actor/model or as the CEO of Gades Stackhouse?”
He added, “In acting, theatre has always felt like home—it’s where I feel the most connected. But my recent work on two Netflix series has been the most visible and exciting milestone so far.
As the founder of Gades Stackhouse, participating in hotel transactions and helping people find their new home or build a hospitality project they love has been extremely rewarding. It’s meaningful work, and it continues to motivate me every step of the way.”
Plans we asked Marcos Frutos
Lastly, we asked, “What future plans or upcoming projects can we expect from you, both in your entertainment career and in your business ventures?”
“Whether as an actor or as the founder of G&S, my goal is to keep moving steadily and intentionally—without rushing or forcing anything. I have a very clear idea of where I want to take both areas.
At this stage of my life, I’ve learned that neither business nor art is a speed race or a rigid path forward. It’s all about intention (much like in acting). For me, both areas are long-term commitments built on doing things well, staying grounded, and enjoying the ride. Whatever comes next, I welcome it with curiosity and gratitude,” Marcos shared.
