One of the three chambers that operate under Dubai Chambers, Dubai International Chamber (DIC), has completed its trade mission to Senegal and Morocco as part of the “New Horizons” initiative.
To investigate prospects for business expansion and economic collaborations, the chamber arranged 300 bilateral meetings between companies from Dubai and Morocco in Casablanca and signed four memorandums of understanding (MoUs) in Morocco.
The agreements open up new avenues for collaboration between Dubai-based businesses and their Moroccan counterparts to promote growth in auspicious industries. To foster growth and innovation, the organizations will work together to plan conferences, trade shows, and business gatherings. They will also share knowledge and skills in a mutually beneficial manner.
As part of the mission’s activities in Casablanca, the Dubai International Chamber organized a special business forum titled “Doing Business with Morocco,” with assistance from the UAE Embassy in Rabat and the four parties that have signed Memorandums of Understanding with Dubai Chambers.
A total of 420 people attended the event, including business executives, government representatives, and representatives of local businesses looking to discuss possible collaborations with the chamber’s delegation.
During his opening remarks at the event, the President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, emphasized the expanding bilateral cooperation between the two markets. He said, “The economy of the Kingdom of Morocco has made significant strides that enhance its attractiveness among private sector companies from Dubai.
