The UAE National Olympic Committee also revealed the uniforms that the Emirati Olympians will wear. The uniforms’ designer, Rawdha Al Shaafar, one of the founders of A Friend of Mine by Xpoze, commented, “The design is simple and modern at the same time.” White was selected because it is a colour of strength, tranquility, and purity. This color symbolizes the athletes’ impending start over.

Concerning the text, we added ‘United Arab Emirates’ in Arabic and red to represent our nation, signifying bravery and instilling a sense of pride in the athletes wearing the uniform. She continued that the sportswear is lightweight and breathable in the summer because the fabric is temperature-appropriate.
