His Majesty The Supreme Council member and Sharjah ruler, Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, emphasized that Youth Energies is a word that incorporates a variety of elements. In the past, it was known as extracurricular activities that give pupils abilities beyond academic knowledge and help them develop a proper grasp of science.
This was said by Sheikh Dr. Sultan during his remarks during the ceremony commemorating the winners of the fourth “Sheikh Sultan Award for Celebrating Spirit of Youth” held at the Al Badee Palace on Saturday.
Sheikh Dr. Sultan noted that he hurried to figure out how to develop young people’s intellects even though he saw a decline in young brains. He clarified that in order to guarantee an integrated strategy that incorporates education and upbringing with sports and other activities that young people participate in this year and in years past, such programs must begin in schools.
The Ruler of Sharjah observed that the number of applicants for the award is rising and confirmed that the recipients have made an impression on others with their accomplishments in related or scientific disciplines. He said that it would be beneficial for everyone if this prize continued to develop and attract a lot more participants.
