After reporting a record Dh23 billion in sales in 2024, Sobha Group has taken a significant step in diversifying its portfolio with the opening of The Gallery, the first flagship showroom of Sobha Furniture, which the company views as a potent new development engine. The Group, which employs 55,000 people, is positioning its new furniture vertical as a key pillar alongside its extensive real estate businesses.
The Gallery, situated at The S on Sheikh Zayed Road, represents Sobha’s goal of transforming from an interior manufacturer for its own projects into a dominant force in regional design and production. The Gallery is a professional workspace where architects, interior designers, developers, and project partners can collaborate, explore materials, and prototype ideas directly with Sobha Furniture’s teams. It was designed as an experience-led environment instead of a traditional retail showroom. The area includes large material and finish libraries, designated areas for technical talks and design development, and mock-up rooms that mimic actual project conditions.
The launch, according to founder PNC Menon, is a return to the interior craftsmanship roots of his career. At the opening, he stated, “My journey began with crafting complete interior environments, where furniture was central to the story.”That passion finds new expression with Sobha Furniture, fusing contemporary precision and scale with artisanal roots.” This idea is embodied in the Gallery, a space where innovation and tradition coexist.
