The Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, underlined that the university’s 2024–2030 plan (EDGE) seeks to attain excellence, creativity, and innovation.
In addition to improving students’ experiences and preparing them for the future, this approach shows a strong dedication to the university’s mission of developing the nation’s talent in scientific research, teamwork, and initiative.
Under the theme “Raising the University to the Peak of Excellence,” the University of Sharjah’s 2024–2030 strategy was unveiled during the University of Sharjah Strategic Conference, which Sheikh Sultan attended Thursday morning at the Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre.
Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed emphasised the significance of the University of Sharjah’s new strategy, which outlines the priorities and long-term plans aimed at fostering excellence in education for the entire university community. He defined it as a revitalised vision centred on attaining excellence in research and teaching for the good of society.
The university is committed to fostering a motivating and encouraging environment as a cutting-edge learning environment. By encouraging creative, financially viable research, improving academic quality, empowering students, and placing the University of Sharjah among the top 200 universities in the world, this approach aims to transform higher education in the area completely.
