Under the new community project “12 Challenges in 12 Months,” which was started by the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work and the Sharjah Volunteer Center, the first challenge for January is called “Best Volunteer Idea.”
This campaign aims to promote a culture of voluntarism and encourage people and organizations to propose creative volunteer ideas that support sustainable community development. The program’s goals are to encourage people to volunteer in novel and imaginative ways and to promote volunteering in all spheres of society.
This initiative is a component of a larger plan to engage people in social responsibility, provide an interactive platform to encourage community involvement, and establish volunteering as a sustainable societal value.
The monthly challenges, each with a distinct name and hashtag, distinguish this project from others. They enable community members to join in a non-competitive way, fostering a spirit of volunteerism founded on commitment and generosity.
Both sides have urged community people to take part in this challenge, highlighting the critical role they play in fostering a culture of voluntarism by proposing the most creative and significant volunteer initiative that advances community service.
