STOGOCOMP, the UAE’s first open competition for robotics and artificial intelligence (AI), is accessible to all schoolchildren between the ages of 9 and 19. It was announced by the Emirates Safer Internet Society (eSafe). Students from both public and private schools will use this forum in its inaugural edition to offer practical solutions to enhance the wellness of students in educational institutions.
As students push their science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) skills and increase their understanding of robotics and Al, STOGOCOMP stimulates creativity, ingenuity, and curiosity. This esteemed competition will be held at the University of Dubai thanks to the collaboration of two non-governmental organisations, the Emirates Safer Internet Society and the Robotics Automation Society, with technical assistance from Tachyon 360.
We are proud at eSafe to organise this ground-breaking competition, generously funded by Disney Company, in collaboration with our valued partners, the Robotics and Automation Society (RAS) and the University of Dubai, which will host the final ceremony,” stated Dr. Abdulla Mohamed Al Mehyas, Chairman of eSafe. We are hopeful that STOGOCOMP will open doors for UAF students to make significant contributions to the nation’s goal of becoming a leader in artificial intelligence.
