His Highness the UAE President French President Emmanuel Macron and Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan examined a number of facets of their long-standing and strategic collaboration and talked about ways to deepen their bilateral connections, especially in the areas of investment, culture, and the economy.
The two parties also discussed how to strengthen cooperation in fields that support their common goal for sustainable growth and prosperity, including as energy, advanced technology, artificial intelligence, and climate action.
His Excellency President Macron greeted His Highness the President and conveyed his delight at having him visit France during their meeting at the Élysée Palace. In exchange, His Highness expressed gratitude to President Macron for the cordial welcome.
The two presidents reaffirmed their commitment to ongoing communication and cooperation while discussing regional and global events and exchanging opinions on important topics. They emphasised how crucial it is to cooperate to address urgent global issues and promote peace and stability in the Middle East and beyond.
Speaking about the close relationship between France and the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasised their positive cooperation in many areas, especially energy and climate change. He pointed out that the UAE-France Bilateral Climate Investment Platform was established last year and that the two countries have had a Comprehensive Strategic Energy Partnership since 2022.
