The Google for firms Accelerator is a collaborative initiative between Hub71, Abu Dhabi’s global digital ecosystem, and Google. Its goal is to expand AI-focused firms inside Hub71+ AI, the ecosystem’s specialised vertical, and spur innovation in high-impact Abu Dhabi sectors. Twenty-six businesses from the Hub71 community have been chosen to be part of the first cohort, which will provide them with access to a customised three-month program.
Google’s worldwide network of engineers, product executives, mentors, and Google Cloud credits will be available to startups. The program’s greatest level of support, up to $300,000 in credits, will be given to top-performing firms. To further enhance their technological skills, they will also be considered for tier credit allocations in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem.
These firms, which are already part of the Hub71 community, have already received up to Dhs500,000 in financing support, which includes Dhs250,000 in cash through a SAFE note, Dhs250,000 in in-kind support services, and customised mentorship. They may now expand internationally from Abu Dhabi thanks to the Google for Startups Accelerator, which gives them access to a strong network of partners, technical specialists, and commercial growth prospects inside the Hub71+ AI ecosystem.
