Since its debut at the Abu Dhabi Corniche in March 2017, the Ministry of Defense has worked in remarkable tandem with a number of federal and local government organizations throughout the United Arab Emirates to organize military parades that have traveled to various emirates in the past nine iterations of the ‘Union Fortress’.
Final preparations are currently being made for the tenth edition of the ‘Union Fortress 10′ military parade, which is sponsored by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the United Arab Emirates and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
The Ministry of Defence is working with 45 governmental, semi-governmental, and commercial organizations to ensure the event’s success and professional delivery under the theme “Pride and Loyalty, Pledge and Allegiance, Security and Prosperity.”
Together with other governmental, semi-governmental, and private sector supporting organizations, the Ministry of Defense has partnered with key forces such as the Land Force, Air Force and Air Defense, Presidential Guard, Joint Aviation, National Guard, and Abu Dhabi Police to promote smooth communication between the participating forces. To maintain national security and stability, this coordination highlights the value of cooperation across the country’s entities and represents a shared goal.
These preparations demonstrate the Armed Forces and security services’ dedication to showcasing their readiness and the excellent caliber of their workforce. This reinforces the ‘Union Fortress’ as a top national event that highlights the excellence of the country’s Armed Forces and the power and unity of its institutions.
