According to a recent Brand Finance survey, the telecom vertical etisalat by e&, owned by e& Group, is the strongest brand in the Middle East and worldwide, while the oil behemoth Adnoc is the most valuable brand in the United Arab Emirates.
Based in Abu Dhabi, Adnoc’s decarbonization and diversification initiatives contributed to a one-point increase in its brand strength index score of 80.2, which increased the company’s brand worth by 7% to $15.2 billion.
The world’s strongest telecom brand is etisalat by e&, a telecom company that received a AAA grade and an 89.4/100 Brand Strength Index score.
Adnoc and etisalat by e& remain the top brands in the UAE, staking their claim to supremacy.
According to Andrew Campbell, managing director of Brand Finance Middle East, “Despite operating in different sectors, both brands exhibit remarkable strategic prowess through relentless diversification and investment strategies to fortify their positions and expand within rapidly evolving markets.”
In the meantime, the post-pandemic travel boom has lifted airline flydubai’s revenue up 65% to $260 million, making it the fastest-growing brand in the United Arab Emirates. This growth is mostly due to a 31% increase in passenger numbers year over year and a 23% increase in revenue in 2023 Due to consistent growth, Emirates’ brand worth increased by 30% to $6.6 billion, making it the most valuable airline brand in the Middle East.
