According to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affair (GDRFA) Dubai, Amer, the one-stop shop where UAE residents can complete all visa and residency transactions under one roof, saw a notable 21.3% increase in the number of transactions completed in 2023 compared to 2022.
Amer, which operates 75 branches throughout Dubai, recorded 4,925,939 transactions last year, up 21.3% from 3,875,374 transactions in 2022. In contrast, the percentage of Emiratis employed in Amer centers has reached 100% since 2022, with 893 Emiratis working in various branches.
The one-stop shop added new branches, including five lounges offering services in various locations in the emirate and two branches inside Dubai International Airport
Amer expanded its network of locations to include two branches inside Dubai International Airport (DXB) and five lounges providing services throughout the emirate.
Amer serves as a one-stop shop for all visa and residency related transactions, including entry permits, new residency, golden visa applications, residency renewal and cancellation, exit permits, departure permits, registration of new free zone establishments, and other services pertaining to other government agencies like the Dubai Municipality, Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization, and Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai.
