One of the three chambers that make up Dubai Chambers, the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, has disclosed that the nine multinational corporations (MNCs) it successfully brought to Dubai last year have a combined market value of more than Dhs304 billion ($82.84 billion).
The impressive result highlights the chamber’s commitment to bolstering Dubai’s digital economy by the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33). It represents the emirate’s increasing appeal as a preferred investment hub for forward-thinking technology enterprises.
In 2023, the chamber brought various specialized international digital enterprises to Dubai. The nine companies operate in industries such as cybersecurity, mobility technology, health and fitness technologies, new energy-based vehicles, robotics, autonomous systems, e-commerce, the automotive sector, legal services, and cryptocurrency.
The chamber drew three digital firms from Asia, three from Europe, two from the USA, and one from Latin America, highlighting the bright prospects that Dubai’s digital economy offers the world.
Achieving these kinds of multinational corporations is another one of Dubai’s accomplishments, according to Omar Bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications and Chairman of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy. The emirate is still building a comprehensive business ecosystem and fostering growth, innovation, and creativity.
