Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE’s vice president, prime minister, and ruler of Dubai, started the Fathers’ endowment campaign, to which an Emirati billionaire has donated Dh35 million.
The initiative honors fathers in the United Arab Emirates by creating a long-term endowment fund to offer medical care and treatment to the underprivileged.
The Fathers’ Endowment campaign embodies Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s vision for advancing sustainable humanitarian and charitable work that uses creative programs and community involvement. He does everything in his power to help those living in impoverished communities meet their basic needs and live with dignity, with a special emphasis on sustainable healthcare.
The program honours fathers by enabling people to make donations in their honour. The Emirati businessman’s contribution is a part of a community-wide response to the campaign.
