The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa) Chairperson, Sheikha Bodour Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, has named Sara Al Nuaimi as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, and has promoted current CEO Najla Al Midfa to Vice-Chairperson of Sheraa.
Sheikha Bodour offered her thoughts on the leadership changes, saying, “As CEO, Najla demonstrated exceptional leadership which has driven Sheraa towards remarkable success.” Her many accomplishments and unwavering dedication to promoting entrepreneurship in Sharjah are reflected in her promotion to Vice-Chairperson. Sheraa’s portfolio has an impressive 71% survival rate and includes eight successful startup exits. Moreover, the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival has cemented the emirate’s reputation as a talent convener, attracting over 30,000 changemakers from around the world over the past seven editions.
Sheikha Bodour also introduced Sara Al Nuaimi, the new CEO. Sarah comes to Sheraa with a wealth of experience and a commitment to leading initiatives that impact several industries. We believe that under her dynamic leadership style and inventive thinking, Sheraa will experience a new growth phase.
The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center, dedicated to fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs and creating a world-class entrepreneurship ecosystem in Sharjah, was inaugurated in January 2016 in the presence of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and ruler of Sharjah.
