Etihad announced that starting on October 27, there will be one daily flight between Boston and Abu Dhabi.
The decision was made three months after Boston was added to Etihad Airways’ list of American destinations, along with Chicago, New York, and Washington, DC. Travellers can pick up their bags and leave the UAE once their flight arrives in the US. All checks have been completed before takeoff.
Etihad has announced that starting on October 27, it will start operating an Airbus A350 once daily to Toronto Pearson Airport in Canada and increase the number of flights it operates out of Boston. The Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines powering the Airbus A350 make it one of the most efficient aircraft models in the world. The aircraft emits 25% less CO2 and uses 25% less fuel than earlier models.
With its improved efficiency and comfort, the Airbus A350 is revolutionizing air travel. Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad, stated, “The introduction of the A350 to Toronto aligns with our strategy to meet increasing customer demand and expand our network.”
Etihad’s daily flights from Boston Logan International Airport to Abu Dhabi use Modern Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners with the airline’s well-known Business Studios and Economy Smart seats.
