Dubai’s commitment to forward-thinking development and its rapid growth have always been reflected in the city’s real estate market. Dubai is not just keeping up with the times; it is leading the way as global industries shift more and more towards technology. The Real Estate Evolution Space (REES), a new project by the Dubai Land Department (DLD) that aims to lead a major change in the urban landscape through innovation and strategic collaboration, is at the centre of this movement.
The Director General of DLD, Marwan Bin Ghalita, claims the REES initiative will propel the real estate industry forward by developing partnerships for AI-driven transformation and strategic programs critical to tackling present and future industry challenges. There’s a good chance that venture capital and accelerator funding for proptech startups will increase significantly. Through strategic partnerships, like the one with Dubai Chambers, DLD is creating a specific business group for proptech companies.
In this wave of technological innovation, businesses such as VeriEstate are becoming increasingly important. VeriEstate, a proptech startup with its headquarters in Dubai, is ideally suited to the goals of the REES program. VeriEstate, a registered member of the DIFC Innovation Hub, aims to develop into a comprehensive platform covering every aspect of real estate and utilising cutting-edge technology to increase market efficiency and transparency.
