The male individual who attacked another person with a bladed weapon, causing injuries such as a 5 cm cut and bleeding, was fined Dhs30,000 by the Abu Dhabi Family, Civil and Administrative Cases Court. The victim received medical attention however.
In the case’s specifics, the plaintiff sued the defendant and demanded Dhs 100,000 in settlement money to cover blood money, fines, the government of justice, material and moral damages, and interest at a rate of 9%.
The plaintiff also attempted to force the defendant to pay the costs incurred.
In addition, the plaintiff asked that the judgement be enforced immediately and without bond, and the plaintiff designated a forensic expert to assess the injuries the plaintiff sustained—injuries brought on by the defendant’s use of a knife. For this reason, the defendant was found guilty of this crime.
