GSIL, a South Korean smart safety technology company, has expanded into Oman, widening its market share in the Middle East with its advanced safety standards.
After a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in Dubai with the UAE-based Gas and Petroleum Trading Atlantis Wide LLC, which has a refinery business in Oman, GSIL entered Oman. Last year, it introduced and implemented its Smart Site Safety Solution (4s) at the Saudi Aramco Jafurah Gas Processing Facilities Project (JFGP) site.
At the gathering, which took place at the Atlantis Wide offices in Church Tower in the Business Bay, Manager Hashemi Hosseini represented the company, while Chief Executive Officer Lee Jung-woo of GSIL represented the Korean company.
“GSIL’s leading smart safety technology will be introduced to refining plants and construction sites in Oman,” according to Hosseini, a representative of Atlantis Wide. Through the application of ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) to sustainable development and the commercialization of smart safety, the two companies’ strategic collaboration is anticipated to improve work efficiency.
With an emphasis on the United Arab Emirates and Oman, Hosseini continued, “We will actively support entry into Middle Eastern countries.” The CEO of GSIL described the deal as a “valuable partnership” that produced “actual outcomes thanks to active investments in the region.
