The Emirates Group honoured the contributions made by Emirati women and the essential work they accomplish to promote excellence in travel and aviation in the United Arab Emirates. Currently, the organisation has over 200 Emirati women in leadership roles, fostering growth in various business areas.
According to a press release released on Wednesday, Emirati women are paving the way for future generations of aviation professionals by establishing a talent pipeline and pursuing careers in various business functions at the Emirates Group.
Women make up about 38% of the Group’s Emirati workforce, and during the most recent fiscal year, the company hired a record number of Emirati women. This demonstrates even more the Emirates Group’s dedication to integrating Emirati women into the expanding aviation industry in the United Arab Emirates, where they are equipped with the knowledge, abilities, and skills necessary to realise their full potential.
Another significant accomplishment for the Emirates Group this year was a 20 percent increase in the proportion of Emirati women appointed to leadership positions over the prior year.
The Emirates Group announced in March 2024 that five Emirati women leaders have been promoted to senior executive positions in important departments such as Commercial Support and Human Resources.
