As part of its participation in the 21st Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition, the Police Follow-up and Aftercare Department of Abu Dhabi Police launched an initiative to recover suspended driving licenses (for drivers with 24 black points) and reduce black points.
The exhibition, “Sustainability and heritage in a renewed spirit,” is being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) through September 8, 2024.
Director of the Police Follow-up and Aftercare Department Brigadier Ahmed Juma Al Khaili said that drivers of light vehicles with eight to twenty-three black points would benefit from this service, which is currently being offered on the department’s platform and has been approved by Abu Dhabi Police.
Drivers with 24 black points may find retrieving suspended licenses to be of interest, according to Lieutenant Colonel Nahyan Mohammed Bin Zaytoun Al Muhairi, Head of the Black Points Programs Section.
According to him, drivers would need to visit the customer satisfaction centres at the Traffic and Security Patrols Directorate or use the Tamm app to finish the process of transferring the black points to their driving licenses.
He advised them to pay the fees (Dhs800) to reduce the black points and Dhs2,400 to recover suspended driving licenses at counter 7 in the exhibition’s weapons wing before attending the scheduled course, which will take place at 4 p.m. at the Knowledge Centre auditorium across from Gate No. 5.
