A significant number of schools nationwide, particularly the more affordable ones, experienced high demand for last-minute admissions. Some are working Budget nonstop to keep up with demand, while others are adding more classes.
The director of admissions and community relations at Next Generation School Dubai, Sahar El Gayyar, stated that “last-minute admissions typically increase significantly as the academic year approaches.” To handle the surge, we are expanding our working hours, expediting the admissions procedure, and requesting more help from our support and administrative teams.
Sahar claims that this kind of last-minute rush for admissions is typical. According to her, the usual causes are people who relocate to the area or the country and people who make decisions later. We make every effort to handle the substantial surge in applications. Unfortunately, because most grade levels are already full by this point, we are not always able to find a placement. We occasionally add more classes to meet the demand, particularly in the early years program.
Staff members at the Hope English School in Sharjah have also been working nonstop to accommodate the surge of new students. Admissions officer Alice stated, “Of the 295 new admissions we have, we received the highest number of admission requests for lower grades.”
