According to Aisha Miran, Director-General of KHDA, Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) is dedicated to making sure that educational institutions and schools provide the best possible education, in line with the leadership’s goal of Dubai becoming a global leader in learning and education.
Speaking with chief editors of media outlets in the United Arab Emirates, Aisha Miran emphasised the Authority’s commitment to delivering high-quality education in Dubai’s private schools. She emphasised continued initiatives to maintain educational standards, like the yearly school inspections. In addition, she mentioned that three schools were shut down after the 2023–2024 school year due to non-compliance with quality standards, highlighting the continued importance of student welfare.
Along with local media leaders and chief editors of UAE newspapers, Mona Al Marri, the Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, and the Director-General of GDMO, also attended the session. A few days into the 2024–2025 school year, during the meeting, Aisha Miran covered many important subjects on Dubai’s educational system. The conversation brought to light important facets of this vital industry, which is crucial in influencing the lives of coming generations.
