Emirates, a Dubai-based airline, announced on Wednesday that it serves over 45 million pieces of premium chocolate onboard annually across all classes in honor of World Chocolate Day, which falls on July 7.
Emirates offers artisan chocolate as part of their signature meal service in all classes, to 140 destinations worldwide, adding to the enjoyment of the “fly better” experience.
Over the previous year, 36.3 million chocolate treats were served to Economy Class passengers and 322,000 to Premium Economy Class passengers. 8.2 million chocolates have been consumed by Business Class patrons, while 122,000 large gourmet chocolate boxes have been enjoyed by First Class patrons, who are allowed to take home some of their favourite flavours in addition to having unlimited access to chocolates.
